Konstantinos Kakolyris is a Visual Artist and Social Worker. His work is quite personal (for now) and revolves around curiosity, the exploration of the unknown, the unconscious, and emotions. He is not particularly interested in depicting or commenting on what already exists in the world. Instead, he is more drawn to the creation of another world —one with its own flexible limitations and rules— which aligns more closely with what he aims to achieve.
The materials he primarily uses are acrylics. However that does not mean he shies away from oil, paste, toys, strings and other materials that brings his work closer to communicating with the viewer.
